Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026. Last updated: October 11, 2026.
This policy applies to consumer health data of residents of Washington and Nevada, and of anyone whose consumer health data is collected in Washington, as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law. It is provided by Martin Kulendik Sports, Hauptstr. 2, 89269 Vöhringen, Germany, operator of JNMR Studio ("we", "us"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Consumer health data we collect and how we use it
We collect consumer health data only with your consent or where it is necessary to provide the JNMR Studio service you requested.
| Category | How we use it |
|---|---|
| Heart-rate data from your workouts | To estimate your training load and create, adapt and explain your training plan and analyses |
| Workout data from a connected sports watch: workout type, date and time, duration, distance, pace, heart rate (average and, where available, during the workout), elevation, cadence and, for Garmin, the GPS route | To record your runs and other workouts, compare them with your plan, estimate your training load and show your analyses; the GPS route is shown only to you, with that run |
| Training-load estimates we calculate (such as TRIMP, ACWR, CTL, ATL and TSB) | To show your recorded training load over time and adjust your planned training volume and intensity |
| Body details you enter: height, weight, resting and maximum heart rate | To set heart-rate zones, pace and cadence references and a suitable starting point for your plan |
| Your reports of current pain, illness, unusual fatigue and perceived effort | To pause training recommendations when you report current pain and to review your plan with you and, if you use the coach chat with your separate consent, to answer your questions about your plan and training. |
| Optional: past injuries, sensitive body areas and related notes | To take them into account as planning constraints, e.g. fewer steep downhill sessions |
| Messages you write to the coach chat (which may describe how you feel, pain, illness or other health information) | To answer your questions about your plan and training. We do not store chat messages on our servers; they are kept only in your browser for the current session. If a message mentions current pain or symptoms, the coach does not give training advice and points you to a professional and to the app's pain and pause features. |
| Optional: text and screenshots you send through the beta feedback form | To find and fix problems in JNMR Studio during the beta. Screenshots are deleted after 90 days. |
We do not use consumer health data for advertising. JNMR Studio is a training-planning tool and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
2. Sources of consumer health data
- You: information you enter in JNMR Studio.
- Sports watches you choose to connect (currently Garmin or Polar): when you authorize the connection, we receive your recorded workouts through our processor Junction (Adept Labs, Inc., USA): workout type, date and time, duration, distance, pace, heart rate (average and, where available, during the workout), elevation, cadence and, for Garmin, the GPS route. Depending on the provider, Junction may also receive other data the provider shares (for example sleep or stress data); we do not receive or use it. Disconnecting your watch stops the sync; runs and other workouts already imported stay in your account until you delete them, withdraw your consent or delete your account.
- Our own calculations: estimates we derive from the data above, such as training-load metrics.
3. Consumer health data we share
We do not share consumer health data with third parties or affiliates, and we do not sell it.
Service providers that process data on our behalf under written contracts, for example for hosting, databases, email and AI-assisted plan generation, act as processors. They may use the data only to provide JNMR Studio to you.
Junction (Adept Labs, Inc., USA) is our processor for connected sports watches: it receives your workouts from the watch provider and forwards them to us. Our AI provider (Google, Gemini API, paid service) processes the data needed for the AI features as our processor: derived training summaries for plans, adaptations and reviews, and, if you use the coach chat, the messages you write together with a summary of your current plan and recent training. It never receives GPS routes or device identifiers. Google does not use this data to train its models.
GitHub, Inc. (USA) hosts beta feedback reports as our processor; reports carry a pseudonymous reference instead of your name or email address.
4. Third parties and affiliates we share with
Categories of third parties: none. Affiliates: none.
5. Your rights and how to exercise them
You have the right to:
- Confirm and access: find out whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, get access to it, and receive a list of any third parties and affiliates we shared or sold it to, with an email address or online way to contact them.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing of your consumer health data at any time.
- Delete: have your consumer health data deleted. We delete it from our systems, including archives and backups, and notify our processors to delete it too. Deletion from backups may take up to six months after we verify your request.
How to submit a request. In the app, go to Settings → Privacy to withdraw consent, download your data or delete your data. You can also email privacy@jnmr-studio.com from the address linked to your account. We use your existing account to verify your identity; you never need to create a new account to make a request. If we cannot verify a request, we may ask for additional information.
Timing and cost. We respond within 45 days of receiving your request. If we need more time, we may extend this once by up to 45 days and will tell you why within the first 45 days. Requests are free up to twice per year.
Appeals. If we decline to act on your request, you can appeal by emailing privacy@jnmr-studio.com with the subject "Appeal" within 60 days of our decision. We will tell you in writing within 45 days what we did or did not do and why. If we deny your appeal, Washington residents can submit a complaint to the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint, and Nevada residents to the Nevada Attorney General at ag.nv.gov.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
