WATCHES & DATA

With or without a watch.

JNMR is the coach. A watch adds detail, but you don't need one. Works with Garmin and Polar, more watches coming soon.

No watch · any watch

No watch or any watch: log it in seconds.

No watch: a 20-second check-in with your time, how hard it felt and one quick question. Any other watch: add its distance, time and average heart rate to the same check-in.

More detail

The check-in records your time, how hard it felt (1–10) and whether anything hurts; distance, average heart rate and a note if you like. It drives your training load (effort × minutes), your trends and plan reviews. Values you type in count as your own entry: speed and distance trophies, the finish-time estimate and the Carbon tier need a run recorded by a connected watch.

Garmin & Polar

Runs sync automatically.

Finish your run, and it's in JNMR.

More detail

Garmin brings the route map, splits, pace, heart rate, cadence and elevation. Polar brings distance, time and heart rate, without a GPS route. Recorded runs unlock the training-load charts, the finish-time estimate and Carbon tiers.

Connect once from your dashboard. A run you also logged by hand counts once: the watch record stays, and your effort from the check-in is added to it.

JNMR on your Garmin

Today's session on your wrist.

Step by step, with pace or heart-rate targets, the “why” and the weather tip.

More detail

Pair with a six-digit code. The watch shows today's session as steps (warm-up, run, recovery, repeats, cool-down), each with a pace or heart-rate target, plus the “why” and the weather tip, in kilometres or miles. Strength and cross-training days show as titles. The run you record reaches JNMR through your Garmin sync; the app itself sends nothing back.

FOR EVERY RUNNER

What you need on your path.

  • Couch to RunNothing but shoes.

The check-in is all you need: your time and how hard it felt. Your Garmin or Polar already comes along on every run? Connect it once, and your walk/run sessions arrive without a check-in.

  • 5K to MarathonA watch helps on race day.

The finish-time estimate and the Running Performance Index use races or time trials your watch recorded, and splits show how you paced them. Without a watch you still get the full plan and coaching.

  • Get fasterSplits show the progress.

Recorded runs give per-km splits, pace and heart rate, and a race or time trial updates your Running Performance Index. With check-ins only you see minutes and effort, not pace trends.

  • Trail & UltraElevation counts.

Garmin runs carry elevation, so they get the trail view: time on feet, climbing and an estimated grade-adjusted pace. Polar sends distance, time and heart rate, without a GPS route, so no elevation view.

  • HYROX & CrossFitCheck-ins work fine.

Check-ins cover your runs in seconds. With a connected watch, strength and other workouts can come in too and count as training load, never as runs.

  • Build a baseWhatever you have.

Weekly minutes and regularity matter most here, and a check-in covers both. A watch adds heart rate, so easy runs that drift too hard show up.

  • Return to runningHow it felt matters most.

Your effort rating in each check-in steers the next steps. A watch adds heart rate, which shows whether easy runs stayed easy.
